POSITION SUMMARY:
The country training leader is responsible for the following areas:
1. Delivery of effective end to end training services
a. Owns and is responsible for country wide end to end learning services for all programs and clients, single point of contact and chief decision maker for the Training Operations within the geography
b. Responsible for the entire end to end training process (pre-hire, foundations training, new hire/process training , ongoing training and learning, knowledge management) and the performance results and outcomes from them
c. Owns in-class attrition and training throughout through driving an effective classroom, nesting and ongoing training experience.
d. Responsible for training-owned action items for programs enrolled in any internal or client provided PIP through effective training needs and root cause analysis and deployment of multiple learning solutions to address gaps identified
e. Responsible for managing client relationships and the consistency of communication between VXI and key client contacts for the training organization
f. Owns deployment of standard processes (and customizations as needed) - including process design, inventory and change management.
g. Owns deployment of VXI learning technology and infrastructure as needed for clients within the geo
h. Partners with other internal stakeholders to improve program stack ranking to #1 with a distant #2
2. People and Resource Management
a. Plan and enable effective delivery to client headcount demands across the country/geo, including new hire training, nesting, update management and ongoing training/learning through effective forecasting of required training personnel and activity
b. Responsible for all training personnel within the geography including (but not limited to) coaching, performance management, career development, and ongoing learner
c. Responsible for all training infrastructure (physical and technology) within the country - forecasts potential growth and makes decisions on appropriate investments needed to scale accordingly
3. Strategic Growth, Expansion and Talent Development
a. Partners with global (sales, account management, operations, among others) and local teams on strategic growth and expansion in within the country/geo
b. Represents the training organization in all onsite / in-country sales and new client acquisition forums for the country/geo
c. Owns partnerships with local universities/colleges, government units, industry bodies and vendor partners to drive talent building initiatives to improve talent pipeline and quality
REQUIREMENTS
1. Proven expertise in
a. Training Needs Analysis / Root Cause Analysis
b. Adult learning principles, instructional design models (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, SAM), and training evaluation methodologies
c. Instructional Design, Content Development
d. AI-enabled Learning Technology (including LMS Administration)
e. Familiarity with gamification, microlearning, and blended learning strategies.
2. C1 in Berlitz or equivalent standards
3. Education: Relevant Education (College Graduate) and/or Industry Certification
4. Experience:
a. 10-12 years of overall experience, with 5 years minimum leading training/learning organizations in large-scale international BPOs, ITES or US-based captive organizations
b. Experience with clients in the high-tech, telecom, media and/or retail verticals / industries / segments
5. Scope/Span: Should have led training teams of 50+ FTE
6. Project Management: Understanding and proven application of project management methodologies (Agile, Six Sigma, PMP certification is a plus).
7. Communication & Collaboration:
a. Excellent ability to translate data into business insights, with strong stakeholder management skills.
b. Strong presentation and influencing skills at a senior management level.
8. Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems and implement data-driven solutions.
9. Able to work onsite at Makati and during US daytime hours (starts at 8AM Eastern Standard Time US)
