Job Title: QA Automation Tester (4-6 Years Experience)

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium (preferred) or other automation tools.
  • Create and maintain manual test cases and test plans based on project requirements.
  • Perform comprehensive performance testing and identify bottlenecks.
  • Conduct thorough manual testing of new features and functionality to ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure requirements are met.
  • Create and maintain detailed test reports, documenting issues clearly and efficiently.
  • Report and track bugs in Jira or other bug tracking tools.
  • Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing as part of the software release cycle.
  • Continuously analyze, troubleshoot, and provide solutions for issues encountered during testing.
  • Ensure test coverage and quality standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation processes and tools.
  • If applicable, perform testing for AI/ML-related applications and systems.
  • Utilize GitHub Copilot to create test cases and validate automation results.
  • Take ownership of test activities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Be flexible with working hours to accommodate project needs.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in QA automation testing.
  • Expertise in Selenium (preferred) and other automation tools, with proficiency in Python, Java, and pytest or similar testing frameworks.
  • Experience in performance testing using relevant tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Strong experience in manual testing, including test case creation, test management, and bug reporting.
  • Proficient in using Jira or other test management/bug tracking tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and drive test execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in GitHub Copilot for test automation is a plus.
  • Any experience in testing AI applications or knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) or Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with other test automation tools or frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation into them.
  • Experience with AI/ML-based testing and applications is highly desirable.
