Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement "Lean" or "Six Sigma" methodologies to improve efficiency.
- Financial Oversight: Manage departmental budgets, monitor cash flow, and look for cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor staff. They are responsible for maintaining high morale and ensuring the team hits productivity KPIs.
- Supply Chain & Inventory: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure resources are available when needed while minimizing "dead" stock.
- Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality standards to ensure the final product or service meets customer expectations.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure the business operates within legal and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, GDPR) and develop contingency plans for operational disruptions.
